Scarlett Posted October 14, 2019 Share Posted October 14, 2019 He was scheduled to have a knee surgery today. It has been cancelled because he more urgently needs a neck surgery. He has collapsed discs and a lot of bone spurs. He is in constant pain....can’t sleep etc. he has been putting this off for well over a year and it recently got a lot worse. Constant tingling down his arm and electric shock feeling on his shoulder. Surgery scheduled for mid November. Dh has confidence in his surgeon and the surgeon is also very confident....but hearing the details of what happens and all of the what ifs is very scary to me. As a side note....Dh has suffered from esophagus problems for years. He has been stretched several times.... it really nothing really helps.. if you look at the nerves that come from the neck, one of the things controlled is the esophagus.
