It happens so infrequently that it is a joy when does. I hadn't absolutely lost myself in a new-to-me book for years before that, and I haven't in the several years since. After reading just the first paragraph of The Worthing Saga by Orson Scott Card, I knew I was in for a good ride and could not have cared less about the multiple delays in both my flight departures.
