extendedforecast
Cleaning out the kids game room, I found these. I’m not sure if they’re important or can be tossed out. I’d love to chuck them, but I know as soon as I do, I’ll realize what they’re for and will regret it. The picture uploaded sideways. I’m on my phone and don’t know how to fix this. Sorry! BarbecueMom
Are they metal? They look like the clamps that hold bed rails together.
Tree Frog
They look like they go over something with a firm wire. The top one has a slit where you'd slide it over a (wire shelf? maybe) and pop the bottom on. 1
Tap
Buy anything new recently? Are they from packaging of some kind? They could just be disposable spacers to hold an item in place in packaging.
itsheresomewhere
Those look exactly like the packing spacers on a new item. A funny- a dear sweet friend bought something recently and was telling us about it. Her only complaint was those tiny clip things that keep falling off. We had to tell her those were packing clips and were meant to be removed.
Loesje22000
To me it looks like a different type of box lid clippers:
Arcadia
No idea. I would be happy to use those on my metal rack or my kids’ tables as cable holders/organizers.
VaKim
They look like brackets of some sort to me. The slit looks like it should be slid over a screw in the wall or whatever you attach them to.

They’re plastic, about 2 inches in length. 23 hours ago, Tap said: Buy anything new recently? Are they from packaging of some kind? Yes, but while the kids have “cleaned” that room for the past 7 years, it is the first time I’ve gone through, it thoroughly organizing it. So they could be from as long as seven years ago. 12 hours ago, Arcadia said: No idea. I would be happy to use those on my metal rack or my kids’ tables as cable holders/organizers. Good idea! I mounted an extra command clip from Christmas on my nightstand to keep my phone charger within reach. I could use it to keep cords together if I never figure out where they belong. 11 hours ago, VaKim said: They look like brackets of some sort to me. I just can’t figure what it would hang.
J-rap
They look like some kind of clamp to me. I think you can toss them. If you ever realize you need little clamps for something, you can always pick up new ones at the hardware store.
