Who's going to tackle Friday with me?

Recommended Posts

Happy Friday!  One of my last (2) here in Italy.

It's my LAST weekend of packing.  Most of the trash is starting to leave the house (HUGE bags)

Clean

Laundry

Swim

Watch some television... and have a fun evening with my family before the last big push to be ready for the movers to arrive!

Good morning!

Performance day here for both kids, so not much regular school. I am mostly a driver today.

Check Algebra

Ds to tutorial, with costume!

Pick up my mom for ds' show.

Enjoy art show and drama performance.

Drop dd at rehearsal/sound check.

Take mom home.

Ds to swimming? He didn't want to go, but I was the mean mom and made him. He is SO much easier to live with when he gets a workout!!!

Pick up Dd and/or make sure she gets some dinner and cash.

Stay to listen to Dd's group?

Talk dh into picking up dd? So I can hang out at home in my jammies and read a book.

Not cooking tonight. Dinner is leftovers, sandwiches, whatever they can find.

Good morning! The sun is starting to peek out and it should be a lovely day today. dd2 left for practice and everyone else is slowly rolling out. Regular day today- just a few errands, I think.

  • write
  • school with ds
  • chores- including bathrooms
  • when dd2 gets home- car in for re-check of tires
  • ds3 to tennis
  • finish kitchen chores
  • pick up ds3
  • Not use what is for dinner or who will be here.

Have a great day!

Happy Friday!  OK, this is it girls ... I have to get this work out!  Today!  I can't even pretend I'm going to work over the weekend.

Done:

  • Kids up early to finish / correct homework.
  • Fed the kids while they finished their work ... spilled liquid yogurt all over and had to clean it up....
  • Coffee 1.
  • Decided to drive the kids to school so they would have more time to work.
  • Probably earned my kids their first tardy.
  • Cleaned kitchen, bathrooms, and some clutter.
  • Caught up on emails, social media, news.
  • Had a long phone chat with sister.

To do:

  • Coffee 2.
  • Lots and lots of client work.
  • A little exercise, reading, and housework.
  • Kids will have bowling and TKD while I work; I need to pick them up from TKD at 6:30.
  • Swing by McD's to get kid 1 a cheeseburger since she hates the food at the restaurant we're eating at.
  • Restaurant.
  • Movie "Breakthrough" - early Mother's Day fun.
  • If possible, get kids to do some notes for Monday test.  Or start sketch book.
  • Start laundry?
  • More work / sleep.

I drank magnesium all day yesterday and never did reach bowel tolerance.  I must be really low.  Explains the severe cramping.  Also I was reading that magnesium can help your body with weight loss (not as a weight loss tool alone but in regulating your body's insulin resistance etc.)  Drinking my magnesium now and trying to figure out how to up my intake over all.  Exploring transdermal methods - but not baths because finding a good time for a bath with my schedule and with young people competing for the bathroom just doesn't work.

human care done

medical care done

pet care done though Juliet is obsessed with my new socks.  Trying to walk with a puppy nose snurfing my foot is challenging!

I forgot to run the dishwasher last night, so got that started. Also got laundry going for the day.

Horse chores are done & I finally got motivated to empty the tack room garbage can. I don't know why it seems like such a pain, when it only takes about two minutes to drag it over to the dumpster. The gate is fixed - had to get a new hinge since it was bent beyond repair.

Let the horses out to eat some grass for the first time in a few days. It's warm and sunny and they are happy.🙂

Made a quick menu plan and grocery list, and now I'm off to run errands.

Errands done.

Ds18 finished his last class and wanted to come home for the weekend, so I went and fetched him. Took the backroads and it was a beautiful drive - bright blue sky and big, fluffy clouds. Many Amish buggies on the road.

Saw ds20 while we were up there and we all went out for coffee together, which was fun.

Time for horse chores now, and then I'm going to get busy making tacos.
