Good morning!  DH is off in West Palm Beach for business so it is just me and the boys.  I'm not sure DS17 is overly thrilled to have mommy back telling him what to do after being by himself with dad for 6 weeks....

-coffee
-get DS17 off to school
-workout (haven't worked out since October, wish me luck...)
-school with DS14
-call local high school to ask if DS14 can take AP exam with them in May
-make calls to our old utility companies in FL to switch accounts over to new owners
-research homeschool laws in SC (try to figure out plusses and minuses with each option)
-DS17 to baseball practice
-dinner (Italian pork chops and spaghetti)

Good morning!

The full moon this morning was amazing. Wish I could have gotten a picture of the moon against the snowy backdrop, so pretty!

Another winter storm is coming through later today and tomorrow. At this rate, we are going to be buried in snow until June...

  • school w/dd
  • go over her schedule (ran out of time to do this yesterday)
  • office work (budgeting - we have had some huge expenses lately due to equipment breakdowns and need to tighten up spending for the next several months)
  • text ds18 and wish him luck on his calc test
  • clean bathrooms
  • work on my schedule a bit, try to get more organized
  • order vitamins
  • clean stalls & put down more bedding
  • read a couple chapters of the books I'm working on
  • dinner: tacos with rice & slaw
  • take a sauna tonight, read and relax

Another rough day with ds here. Preteen attitude big-time. Sigh.

AHG stuff

To do:
Math and writing with ds
Leave him a list of independent work
Meeting
Go by the park and get maps
Ds to science class

I just realized I only have 10 freaking days until the end of the month.  So I have a buttload of month-end work to do, when I'm still not done with year-end.  Just shoot me now!

  • Had a hard time waking up this morning.  I woke the kids up and went back to bed, then didn't hear my 7:30 alarm.  Luckily my kid made breakfast without being asked.  I think she wanted me in a good mood so I'd give her phone back!  My other kid had to run for the bus - luckily it waited half a minute while she tore down the street.  This is bad.  In my morning fog, I forgot that I told them they couldn't have their phones if they weren't downstairs & ready by ... some time ... I can't even remember.  Ugh.
  • Did a bit of cleaning.
  • I went back to bed for some time.
  • Caught up on social media and stuff.
  • Dispatched 1 cup of coffee.

To do:

  • Many work reports and invoices.
  • Laundry - I can't leave the load sitting in the washer much longer.
  • Some personal paperwork that is due.
  • Yoga!  And reading.
  • Kids' homework and test study - I need to be militant mama tonight since tomorrow is Wednesday.
  • Try to do the AHG newsletter tonight so it isn't a crisis tomorrow.
  • Maybe take out some or all of the garbage.
  • Whatever else gets done.

Office work is done for the day.

All the usuals - cleaned kitchen, did laundry, horse chores, etc.

Talked/texted with both boys.

Got dd's grade 12 schedule sketched out. She is thrilled to be almost done with her math requirements, but still needs one more science w/lab. Also needs another year of much-dreaded Spanish. She is my only non-STEM kid and plans to get her degree in art and business.

Not a single bathroom has been cleaned yet...that is going to have to wait for tomorrow.
