Help me find the interdisciplinary/integrated courses thread?

Recommended Posts

I can never find old threads, even my own, through the site's search engine.  I can only find them by going on google and typing in whatever thread title I remember + welltrainedmind forums.  Even then, it doesn't always show up unless I can think of more information.

Just the other day I was looking to update an old thread of mine (and just a month old) and couldn't find it.  I typed in the exact thread name + welltrainedmind forums on google and it still didn't show up.  Then when I added my member user name in addition to all of that, it came up.

It sounds like a good thread though.  I hope you find it!

Found two threads that might help:

Course Descriptions and Bibliography with Shared Textbooks - probably not the one you wanted but it's recent.

Integrating History and English articles? books? - From 2011 but seems to be more along the lines you specified.

Awe, thanks. Nope, those aren't it. I could kick myself for not bookmarking it, wherever it was!!

I remembered your post when I stumbled upon these two threads this morning. Hope they help.

Also, 8's book Homeschooling at the Helm is perfect for what you are looking for.

ETA: There are also some good thread links within these threads.

And here is the old thread that Plum Crazy linked in post 11 of the How to design" thread.

I don't know how old the thread is that you were looking for, or what specifically would be useful to you, but when the board switched over in 2012, they archived a bunch of good content on this thread
