AnnE-girl
This came across my newsfeed this afternoon. I think I have some of the Trader Joes vegetables in my freezer to throw away 😕 http://www.fda.gov/Safety/Recalls/ucm498841.htm
Tsuga
Wow, thank you for posting! I will check our frozen berries. We just bought some organic frozen berries at QFC. I think they are Cascading Farm but I will have to double check.

Arcadia
We had already eaten all the TJ petite peas in my freezer. I do boil them with my carrots and chicken drumsticks for more than 20mins for chicken soup.
ILiveInFlipFlops
Thank you! I'd gotten an automated call from BJ's about the frozen peas (which we'd nearly finished anyway), but now I see that my frozen corn may be included. I wonder why certain veggies are included for some brands but not others? Hmmm...
Guest
can you take recalled stuff back to the store? I have a TONNE of recalled stuff, from both costco and TJs. Boooo
mellifera33
Thank you! I haven't checked yet, but I suspect most of the food in my freezer is part of this recall. :(
Arcadia
I wonder why certain veggies are included for some brands but not others? Hmmm...It depends on the source. Like Trader Joes has many sources doing the store brand product for them. can you take recalled stuff back to the store? I have a TONNE of recalled stuff, from both costco and TJs. BooooI know TJs would accept recalled stuff for exchange or credit. I heard Costco would too. Edited May 3, 2016 by Arcadia

MrsRobinson
Thanks for posting this. All I had to throw out was one big bag of corn, which was surprising since I just stocked up on tons of frozen fruit and vegetables. I really lucked out. whitestavern
BJs instructed people to throw out the affected food. They can see if you've purchased them via your BJs card and refund you your money. It was very easy. Faithr
I just searched and only had two bags of Petite Peas and Sweet Corn from TJs.
pinkmint
Looks like there's one on there that we've already eaten from a few times (big Costco bag of froz green beans). I guess we probably shouldn't keep chancing it even though we didn't get sick. Anyway Geez that's a long list of items. Are these items that people should continue to avoid buying until further notice?
ILiveInFlipFlops
It depends on the source. Like Trader Joes has many sources doing the store brand product for them. Thank you, I realized this after I posted and felt kinda silly
Baseball mom
If the store won't take it back I would contact the company. In most cases they will refund your money or send you coupons for more than the amount.
