lynn
Thanks for the responses. Our neighborhood is very quiet from 10a until 2. I'm reminded today to slowdown. Got caught, going over speed limit in my neighborhood. Thankful for the warning and not ticket. I wish he were here during the time kids get home from school to see the regular speeders through here. bettyandbob
Too many kids. Too many older folks walking and crossing the street slowly. No
TechWife
No. We have a neighborhood that is full of children. We also have year round schools and a lot of stay at home parents so there are always children out. I have to Beverly careful, as does the rest of the neighborhood.
maize
No way would I drive fast in a residential neighborhood. The kids around here scare me--riding bikes in the middle of the street at dusk, no lights, no helmets... I stopped not too long ago to let some kids in the street know I almost didn't see them and they need to be more careful, especially when the light is dim.
CinV
I live in a private community and we have "Drive as if your children live in this neighborhood." on every speed limit sign. I only wish that everyone did.

There are not many young children but we live at the cross roads and the young kids now driving need to be reminded to slow down.
