JanetC
For uploading a counselor letter to the Common App, I'm wondering if I can just type my signature, or if I need to insert a JPEG of my actual handwriting? If you used a typed signature, did you use the regular font for the body of the text or a handwriting font? Thanks!
Jenny in Florida
I added a .jpg of my actual signature.
katilac
Anything we sent online just got typed.
regentrude
No. I did not sign it at all. On the transcript which has my signature, I just typed it in regular font. None of the 12 schools DD applied to took any issue.
Gwen in VA
My husband is a computer geek, and I think he enjoyed monkeying around to get the "real" signature on the form.
bugs
I found a "cursive" font and used that for my transcripts and LOR. It adds a little bling.
TravelingChris
Just used a typed signature.
TeaTotaler
Used a typed signature for most schools. The local university requires a notarized copy of the transcript so that one will be physically signed and mailed with the rest of the packet. It's due Nov 15 so I haven't done it yet. 3XBlessed
I just typed my name at the end of the transcript and the end of my counselor letter. To submit to the Common App, I think there was a section at the end where it asked me to check off the box and type in my signature on the Common App before the final submit button. (I think it was for my signature, I was pretty tired at that point.)
JumpedIntoTheDeepEndFirst
For Common App-no. I did sign our official transcript though.
