Seasider
Dh is traveling, I wasn't hungry for dinner and now there's a hunk of goat cheese calling my name from the fridge. I have some water table crackers and could mash some dried cranberries with the goat cheese, but I'm out of pecans which would have completed that little recipe. What combinations do you like? I love it in salad but right now I want to make a cracker spread. I'm going to have that for dinner with a glass of wine while I break into ktgrot's book, which arrives yesterday. YaelAldrich
arugula or frisee? Esoteric and probably not at home but that's what I would do and drizzle them with balsamic vinegar.
Seasider
I am entirely out of nuts. Do have some arugula and balsamic vinegar. Hmm, do I want it sweet or savory?

Carol in Cal.
Sliced almonds, those little thin flake slices would be perfect. Or just a little fresh or dried thyme would go great.
Pam in CT
Just last night someone brought a delicious salad to our YK break-fast, made of (cold) quinoa, goat cheese, dried cranberries, and cucumber chunks... with a side bowl of roasted rosemary walnuts to put on top. Mmmmmmm. I'm definitely adding it to our roster.
