We had roasted pork loin, hashbrown casserole and steamed carrots for dinner. I actually made a real meal.

Hey...I got a Booya/h. A meat-and-potatoes Booya/h.

Nicely done!

We had baked acorn squash with butter and honey and sautéed apples with apple chicken sausages.  It's acorn squash season!

I applied some silicone sealant to the top of the van windshield.  Hopefully it will take care of the leaking.  I am too short to investigate closely.  Meanwhile a new neighbor walked by with her daughter and two dogs so we chatted a bit and the Pups howled like banshees from the house.

Second load of laundry is in the dryer.

Good morning!

Las Vegas!  I heard that they just demolished an old casino.

I noticed that they have pretty much stopped making "spaghetti models", lol.   (((Florida)))

I am in the middle of putting laundry away and setting aside the clothes I need for the weekend.  I have a bunch of pre-trip tasks for the day and will leave after lunch on a road trip to pick up ds19 from school for his fall break.  Online mandolin class tonight.

Coffee!

Good Afternoon!

Happy Friday!

Got a couple of things checked off my to-do list.

Good morning!

Happy Saturday!

I still have plenty of stuff left on my list. I'd be happy to share.

Yesterday, I abandoned textbook science and we made sodium citrate. Now I need to look up how to use it to make the nacho cheese.

Good morning!

Still at camp! Cell service is very spotty so I'm hoping there's enough wi-fi to get this through.  It's been great here - classes are really fun and interesting and I learned to play the mountain dulcimer a bit and took two hikes and went across a swinging bridge and played in a jam.  Today I am going canoeing in the little lake.

Coffee!
