maize
OK, the My Little Uni-pega-ponies had me laughing so hard all my kids had to know what was so funny. Now I will never again be able to convince them that the WTM forums are only for serious discussions of education and that reading them is a critical teacher development activity ;)
1bassoon
At least rhubarb tastes delicious. Muscadines are bad. They are just really really bad. We tried them at a farmer's market and we all spit them out. They are spit them out bad. They taste like kerosene bad! We've got a vine in our backyard here in AL. . . . I make jelly out of them, but darn if it isn't just purple-colored sugary syrup jelly. Everybody loves it, though. Just ask my kids about when they tried to eat one the first summer we lived here! :scared: Between that and the fire ants, they couldn't figure out WHAT strange country we'd landed in. alisoncooks
Funny: I looked up a few homeschooling books on Ebay. Ebay suggested the following, saying that others with my search history had looked at this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-2014-Quick-Reference-Guide-for-Using-Essential-Oils-Connie-and-Alan-Higley/251841924322?_trksid=p2059210.c100148.m2813&_trkparms=aid%3D333008%26algo%3DRIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140127102845%26meid%3D4a630096073d4a0899eb8fcb2aa2ebdd%26pid%3D100148%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D351304627442 :D :D Alright, fess up! Lisbeth
I don't think they are a cure-all, but I've had luck with several recipes. I am suspicious of all kinds of quackery, and have a heavy science education background.
