Moxie
Is it a thing? About once a month, I wake up feeling terrible. Headache, nausea and vomiting. After a few hours, I'm totally fine. It seems to happen right before ovulation. Just curious if anybody knows anything about it.
Murphy101
If the question is "Can fluctuations in hormones during the month cause pregnancy-like symptoms, such as nausea and so forth?" Yes. It most certainly can and is well documented. Whether the fluctuation is specificly due to ovulation or not would need more investigating. CupOCoffee
My 13-year old gets like this! Not necessarily during ovulation, but definitely the first day of her period! She's miserable. ~coffee~
Forget-Me-Not
I've had ovulation symptoms (cramps, pain, headaches) that are worse than the actual period symptoms. I don't get the nausea/vomiting, but I bet yours could definitely be associated.
Rachel
My ovulation symptoms are similar minus the vommitting. The headaches and crankiness are awful, way worse than pms. It has gotten worse in the last couple years. I'm not sure if it is my age or number of pregnancies but it is noticeable.
Katy
Yep. I tend to get diarrhea instead of vomiting, but I've had both. And during times that I was tracking ovulation with strips or temperature, it exactly tracked every time.
Jasperstone
I get sharp pain when ovulating.
Plink
Yup. Add in diarrhea instead of the vomiting and feeling like I might die from the cramps, and that's me. I hate it! I have PCOS though, which may or may not play into things.
