PrincessMommy
Yesterday while out running errands I was stung by a bee on my toe. I couldn't find the stinger, and it continued to hurt for some time, so I think it was stuck in there deep. I usually do a baking soda paste first thing, but I wasn't home. I went home and discovered that I had *nothing* to put on it. My dh brought home some topical antihistamine and I took it in pill form before bed. Now this morning it's itching like the dickens. Anyone got any good ideas for the itching?
stripe
Ugh, I think you've done everything I would do. Hope you feel better soon and that someone else has an idea.
Annie Elle
Maybe you can try taking the antihistamine by mouth and putting on hydrocortisone topically. I'm sorry you got stung.

PrincessMommy
Maybe you can try taking the antihistamine by mouth and putting on hydrocortisone topically. I'm sorry you got stung. I can only take antihistamine at night because it puts me right to sleep. It definitely helped me last night..thank God. I think I have some OTC hydrocortisone in the house...I''ll have to go look for it. Thanks!
HSmomof2
Dermaplast spray....it will tone down the itch and slightly numb the area.
m0mmaBuck
I had a bee keeper tell me that a slice of white onion on a sting does wonders. I did it with DS on a fresh bee sting this summer and it took the swelling, itching, and pain away within 30 minutes. Not sure how it would work after a few days though. Liz CA
Have you tried plain ammonia? Dab some on and see if it still helps.
