ThelmaLou
I recall a discussion about recipes using frozen chicken breasts in the slow cooker. My husband and dad are taking our 4 oldest boys to Colorado soon and I'm trying to set them up with some simple recipes. (No restaurants around for miles). Frozen chicken breasts in the slow cooker sound like a great possibility. If you have recipes to share, I'd really appreciate it!
SnowWhite
This is not a recipe, but it works. Put frozen chicken breasts in crock pot. Top with undiluted cream of chicken (or mushroom, or celery, or onion) soup. Cook on low for 12 hours. (if chicken is thawed, 8 hours should be enough). This is what I do too, except I add sour cream. We had this for lunch today. My crock must run a little hotter, because I never cook mine longer that 7/8 hours, even if I put it in frozen. I'll generally put it on high for about an hour then lower it.
OnTheBrink
OH, the possibilities are endless! I've done them with Italian dressing, teriyaki sauce, spaghetti sauce, any sort of fruity vinaigrette, salsa; pretty much any vinegar-based salad dressing or tomato-based sauce will work. FO4UR
I do frozen chicken breast with BBQ sauce and cook until it pulls apart, and then eat BBQ sandwiches - YUMMY!

lynn
My family likes chicken, salsa, corn, black beans, chili powder and cumin served over rice. This is good on days we are busy I don't have to think if the chicken is thawed or not Ijust put it all in the crock pot.
