PentecostalMom
I will be traveling to Branson with my four youngest dc and my 15yo niece for a week in July. I will be the sole adult. I need some things to do that are free/cheap that will work for these ages. Any idea or suggestions are welcomed! Thanks!

Here's one link: http://www.sidetrackedsarah.com/2012/05/9-things-to-do-for-free-or-cheap-in-branson-mo-area/ Make sure to read the comments, there are additional ideas. Whenever I travel, I google "free cheap CITY NAME" and almost always get some hits.

almondbutterandjelly
The house that Laura Ingalls Wilder and Almanzo (Rocky Ridge Farm, iirc) lived in is in Mansfield, MO, which is about an hour from Branson. There is also a museum there. If you are a fan, it is worth the trip! Loved it! Not very expensive. Pa's fiddle is in the museum, plus Laura's "Ambition" essay. Remember? Susan in TN
What I remember most about Branson was walking around the waterfront, the light show, and getting an ice cream. The rest of my family did one of those Duck Boat rides and had lots of fun, not cheap though.
iamonlyone
Do you already have lodging? Grand Country Resort has a waterpark that is included with the room charge.
