Kathryn
Can't see them. You must have it set to friends only?
Susie in SWVA
I don't know why you aren't able to see them. The setting is "public". Look at Nik McCune FB page. You will see them.

MyThreeSons
No snow here in SC, but we've had fun playing with blowing soap bubbles into the freezing air.

Guest
Those are awesome! I got dh a set of lenses for his phone for Christmas, and I keep bugging him to try to get snowflake pics like that.
Guest submarines
Those are beautiful! How did he capture them? There's a link at the end of the article to his blog where he describes his process. http://chaoticmind75.blogspot.ru/2013/08/my-technique-for-snowflakes-shooting.html

Susie in SWVA
You aren't going to believe this. He just uses a Canon Power Shot camera - point and shoot. Those snowflakes that he took the photos of were on the window of our car and the screen of our porch. He takes incredible closeups of airplanes flying over our house by holding his camera up to a spotting scope or binoculars.
wendy not in HI
My dd 12 is really excited to try this! She has a Cannon PS, but we never thought to use it like that! Thanks! The spotting scope is a good idea, too...

Chris in VA
Tell him he can take neat shots if he holds his camera up to his microscope, too--here's one of dd looking at salt and then what she saw.
