Since she was always asking to see the newest pictures from her family (most are friends of mine) on my phone, I installed Instagram on her iPad. She is loving seeing all the pictures that her kids, grandkids and great grandkids are posting. I have the following on my iPhone; I assume most of them are also available on the iPad: Logic Games Time Killers -- amazing collection of, well, just what it sounds like. Battleship Solitaire, Hashi Puzzles: Bridges & Islands, Mirrors & Reflections Puzzles, and Hashi Extreme Puzzles, all by Frozax Games Primo Kakuro by Jakro Real Kakuro Blockhead (Rush Hour type puzzle game) All of the above were free, at least for the basic levels.
