Schoolroom Pics

Recommended Posts

Here are pics of my new preschool room. I still have "curtains in the rough" (draped fabric) covering DH's sci-fi collection at the moment, but I'm hoping to have time to sew this weekend. We had our 2nd day of preschool coop today, which was the first day meeting in our house. We have four boys ages 2-4 in our group. We meet twice a week for 2 hours and each mom teaches once per week and provides either the snack or leads Circle Time once per week.

Great space. I love that table, where'd you get it?

The table was custom made by my awesome DH! It's kind of scary to wield the power of being able to request random things and have them appear! :lol:The base is an old dining room table with the legs shortened and 5 inch sides added to make a train/activity table. Then he cut the removable melamine top and added rails inside to keep it from sliding. He's adding red rubber T-molding when it arrives next week.

He did a fabulous job! If he ever makes it to Alberta send him my way to build one for me :D
