Montessorium has some great apps for preschool! Also there are some from another developer (begins with an "R", but I can't remember the name). If you search "Montessori" in the app store they will come up. Most of those would be for your 7 yr old except some of the "three-part cards" which can be introduced at a fairly young age.

We haven't really gotten into learning apps or phonics apps yet (it was my iphone they were previously using, so it was just stuff I came across by accident), we just got an ipad, so are searching too now, so I'm :bigear:

Every few days I look at AppsShopper.com for free (limited time) app deals. I just checked and they have a few good looking free apps for preschool aged kids.

  • Wee Sing & Learn ABC
  • ABA Problem Solving Game
  • ABA Flash Cards – Animals
  • ABA Flash Cards - Alphabet
  • PBS KIDS Video for iPad

I'm not sure if the deals are still available, you would have to look in the itunes store.
