Dianne-TX
I don't think we're talking formal/wedding dressy, but more than just a nice dress. Where have you gotten really dressy dresses for girls?

amy g.
What size is she? I may actually have something that would work?
Dianne-TX
J C Penny's, Macy's are what come to mind. Thought of those, but thanks for mentioning. Strasburg? They have beautiful dresses! Expensive, but beautiful! :) What size is she? I may actually have something that would work? She is a size 10/12, but closer to 12 in a solid size. If you have something, you can send a picture to me and I can show it to her to see if she likes it. Thanks!
snickelfritz
Dillard's? They had very dressy dresses around Easter, but I've not looked there much at other times. What about any stores that carry upscale or wedding consignment? Or even a wedding shop.
amy g.
Shoot! The dress I was thinking of would be too big.
mumto2
Gymboree or any store with a good mark down policy. Easter dresses should be marked down. Also the larger sizes at Gymboree tend to sit unsold. Sorry-- I didn't see the long part. Edited April 19, 2012 by sawuk addition
SebastianCat
Dillards or Nordstrom if you have one nearby. You could also check Belk.
