JudoMom Posted April 10, 2012 Share Posted April 10, 2012 I'm looking for our next read aloud book. I'd like something lighthearted and fun, but not terribly long. Age doesn't really matter--they all sit through and enjoy all sorts of books. I'm thinking along the lines of Mr. Popper's Penguins or Winnie-the Pooh. Suggestions? I was going to start it a few weeks ago, but ds8 pulled out "One the Shores of Silver Lake" and asked we do it first. Erickson My husband started with number one when my daughter was about five and ultimately read the next thirty or so books (all with individual voices for the various characters) over the next five years. Chocolate Fever and The Candy Shop War were also favorites.
