kristavws Posted June 21, 2008 Share Posted June 21, 2008 Better get out your checkbook mom! :lol: We would probably have owned horses before now, but we used to live 5-miles from my ILs and would just take the kids over to their place if they wanted to ride - much cheaper than owning them yourself!! We had to relo across the country, and no longer live close to them. My husband grew up with horses - his family has been ranching the same land for over 100 years - and really likes them so horses are definitely in our future now that we are moving back to the country. The week we sold our house, my youngest checked out a book from the library on how to care for horses. I think it was a hint.
