ladydusk
I have someone very close to me who really hates that I homeschool. She is very opposed, a retired teacher, and I just don't talk about our school much around her. Anyway, she saw that picture I posted of my daughter doing the lesson at the end of FLL2 (attached below) and she was very impressed ... said that wasn't second grade grammar, more like fifth grade grammar. I don't need the affirmation that we're on the right track, but I must admit that felt really good.

TriciaS
I think you just convinced me to go with FLL instead of GWG! That's an awesome compliment she gave you!

ladydusk
Thanks, everyone! I think you just convinced me to go with FLL instead of GWG! That's an awesome compliment she gave you! Oh, no! The Pressure! Seriously, I was worried about FLL1 at first. My friend convinced me to persevere and now I <3 it! It does seem kind of a slog for a bit, but my kids never minded it ... it was all me!
