Prairie~Phlox
I could order some through our food co-op UNFI, however, I don't always order stuff and it's not always convenient and not sure if it's always cheaper. So just looking for other options. I prefer the hard red, is this what most people use though? Just curious.
Erica in OR
We buy ours from Azure Standard, although it would only be convenient if you're on one of their routes. We buy some hard red, along with hard white and soft white for various uses. Erica in OR
Forget-Me-Not
I buy mine from the local LDS cannery. I prefer hard white, but I have both in storage.
nukeswife
When I was looking into buying a grinder I did a google search for my area. I found a set os sisters in my area that have a home business selling wheat, and other bread baking supplies. The best part is that I can get it in ny amount. I like aching to just give them a few days notice instead of having to figure out what to get through a co-op every 3 months. I prefer hard white for my bread, but they sell hard white, hard red, soft white and other not so common grains as well.
Veritaserum
I buy hard white at Costco.
matilda
I buy hard white at Costco. I have never seen wheat at my Costco. Where is it at? By the flour/baking items? To the OP: I have also ordered from Waltonfeed.com and the LDS cannery online (http://store.lds.org/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product3_715839595_10557_21003_-1__195792). ProudGrandma
Azure Standard or my local CO-OP, but Azure is way cheaper.
Mimmy
LDS cannery. I've heard that some only sell to LDS members, but the one in our area will sell to anyone. Their price is much better than the co-ops in our area.

Their price is much better than the co-ops in our area. I heard that about the one in our area and asked. It is completely false at least for my location. I have a feeling it probably is a set standard from SLC but I could be wrong. To find a location near you click here. Select your region from the map. And they are listed by state/region. We like hard white as well.
