Crissy
Anyone remember Colleen's thread about serving soup to a young guest (from a few years ago)? :tongue_smilie: It got kinda crockpotish. I recall her concern being the guest's attitude much more than his disapproval of the food, but I also recall finding it incredibly strange that a boy in his early teens didn't recognize a plate of salad.
Jumping In Puddles
[/b] OMGosh! You rock! I searched, too but using this board's search function. Look at the tags! Ah, those were the days before the Tagpolice cracked down! soup with jalapenos! and salad! The tags are hilarious! Dining with the Queen  Go on unsinkable, resurrect that thread! I'm too shy :D
JeneralMom
I answered yes, even though my kids are not teens. They love soup and would have gobbled it up. I am really surprised how many people say soup is not teen-friendly. Maybe it is where I grew up (Montreal) but I have never met anyone (kid, teen, adult) who didn't love soup. Split-pea and ham is incredibly common there and even comes in cans at the grocery store.
Starr
My teens friends wouldn't make a big deal of being offered something they didn't care for. You had plenty of options and I'm sure the young person who only ate bread was fine with that and went home and had something more. If most of the kids ate you are good to go.
