Jamauk
My husband cringed when I told him I was making yet another last minute curriculum change and it involved buying more books. Then I told him he gets to mummify a chicken with the boys. He asked "when can we start?!?!" :D

NanceXToo
lol cool. That's one of the very few SOTW activities I have skipped so far (in 19 chapters of use to date).

thescrappyhomeschooler
Love it! We mummified our chicken in June 2010, and he is still interred in his pyramid in the boys room. I still can't believe it really works. I expect a foul smell to come out of the pyramid, but it never has so far! I wish your dh and kids all the fun we had with ours! Jamauk
Are you switching to TOG? No, SOTW. I was planning to just use the Usborne Encyclopedia of World History and supplement with library books, but at the last minute we decided to use SOTW and use the Usborne book as supplement.
