King Alfred Academy
My ds 10 is organizing a story time for the preschoolers in our neighborhood for the month of October. He has a great hand print craft he wants to do that involves a black cat. He'd like to read a story to them that has a black cat as a character. Can you think of any? Do you know of any sites that have stories listed with coordinating crafts? Thanks for your help! :001_smile:
domestic_engineer
Splat the Cat by R. Scotton has a black cat as the main character. BUT I have not read the book; I just browsed through it in the new book section at the library.

King Alfred Academy
Wow! Thanks for all of the suggestions and links! I'll be checking these out. If anyone else has ideas, I'll take 'em! Anyone have sites that have picture books linked to crafts? I am thinking my boys will want to make this a monthly gig. :001_smile:

Alice
I was also going to suggest Papa Piccolo. Here are two blogs that do the picture book/craft thing. http://www.amommysadventures.com/p/start.html http://www.redtedart.com/
