Prairie~Phlox
It's been on the past few weeks, tonight is the last episode. I also have South Riding set on my calendar to watch! Anyone else?

Prairie~Phlox
I do, seems too short though.
HistoryMom
I do, seems too short though. I agree. I ordered the old series from Netflix this afternoon. I think I have an addiction to British period dramas.
Forget-Me-Not
Definitely too short. I was hoping it was going to be a seasonal series like Downton Abbey, but apparently it's just over after 3 episodes. It was good though.
Lady Florida.
After I finished watching Downton Abbey I thought about Upstairs Downstairs. I wonder how different the old series is? There are 5 seasons of that one. I too am hooked on British shows, though not only on their period shows.
Tammyla
There are 6 more / new episodes in production now. Definitely too short. I was hoping it was going to be a seasonal series like Downton Abbey, but apparently it's just over after 3 episodes. It was good though. Mary in VA
Loved Downton Abbey and now Upstairs Downstairs. Does anyone know about A Lark Rise to Candleford? I saw it at Costco and wondered if it was any good. They also have the old Upstairs Downstairs at Costco. Was the original good? I was too young to appreciate it when it was on tv. i.love.lucy
I LOVE Larkrise!!! It's currently airing on PBS here and I think this is the last season. If you liked Cranford and that type then you will love Lark Rise. You can also find it on Netflix if you don't want to buy it. I enjoyed Upstairs Downstairs but I thought Downton Abbey was way better. It's good to know there are more episodes of UD in the works though. And South Riding looks great!
