Mom2legomaniacs
Well, right now, my list is all curriculum prep. I need to go through the IEW TWSS to prepare for implementation. Also, TTC, Harp and Laurel Wreath, and rereading WTM. I have one moving into 5th and feel the need to refresh myself on the goals and plans. Sorry, nothing just for me yet. But I do have several here awaiting reading: The Space Between Us Paint It Black Eat, Love, Pray Eats, Shoots, and Leaves Okay, I do have some I hope to read after all. They just got buried under the curriculum!
St. Theophan Academy
Here is the start of my reading list: Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain Latin Centered Curriculum - Revised Ed. Seven Habits of Highly Effective People I know there are others I need to read, just can't think of them right now, and at some point I will add a few fun classics in there as well - maybe I will have to make a list on my blog to motivate me - Thanks for asking this question! megsy
Seven Habits of Highly Effective People And I just finished the course on this and it was really good! It's definitely going to help me stay centered on making sure we're (the family) heading in a good direction. On my list: Hypnobabies Homestudy Charlotte Mason Companion Anam Cara Breastfeeding Made Simple: Seven Natural Laws for Nursing Mothers (I've nursed three already, but this book came highly recommended by a friend so I thought I'd give it a shot) Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella (love, love, love her fluff books) A Mother's Rule of Life (have started this but need to get through all the P's) The Third Jesus [the Christ we cannot ignore] Certain Girls by Jennifer Weiner (more fluff) Left to Tell that's of course assuming I have time for all this ... :001_huh:
linders
I've got the following sitting by my bed, ready for those lazy (well, lazier) summer days... Three Cups of Tea (after Kiterunner and Thousand Splendid Suns, I'm mesmerized by the Afghanistan/Pakistan region - those were incredible reads, by the way) Emma (somehow missed it all these years) Last of the Mohicans The Thief Taker 1776 (McCullough) Animal, Vegetable, Miracle And I'm hoping to pre-read the following for my DS - the 1st couple Redwall books, Spderwick Chronicles. And then there are all those lovely kid's classics I'd like to do as read-alouds...
