I need a great punch recipe!

Recommended Posts

WIthout making it difficult, time-consuming, etc., yes, I do have a punch recipe.

We used the pomegranate 7 up that was available over the holidays, and mixed it with welch's cherry and grape juice blend. No ice cream added like some punch recipes. 7 up makes another fruit kind, cherry maybe? I thought half of each would be good, but heavier on the 7 up was preferred.;)

Oh, yeah! Like Erica says: garnish! I used lemon slices.

Made this for a church event and it went over very well.

(From http://www.robbiehaf.com/Recipes/F/41.htm)

3 qt. orange juice

2 qt. pineapple juice

2 liters lemon-lime soda

1/2 cup grenadine syrup OR juice from 10 oz. jar maraschino cherries

4 cups ice cubes

1 med. orange - sliced

1 med. lemon - sliced

1 med. lime - sliced

-Combine juices, soda, and grenadine in a punch bowl.

-Add ice.

-Lay slices of fruit on ice to garnish.

--2 (Two) 2L bottles carbonated fruit punch OR 2 C carbonated fruit punch

--2 (Two) 2L bottles lemon-lime soda

--2 med. cans frozen orange juice concentrate

--Sherbet to taste (about 5 scoops) ... my notes say 1/2 gal.

--Ice

--Grapefruit or orange slices for garnish

This will make enough to refill; about 3 bowls full. Cut the amounts in half (or double :D) if necessary.
