mamapjama
I have seen several recipes call for Rotel. Is it just a diced tomato with chilis?

fairytalemama
Your post cracked me up. When I was a kid, my mom would "make Rotel" for parties, i.e. melted Velveeta mixed with a can of Rotel in a fondue pot served with tortilla chips. KrissiK
That stuff is great. But be sure to the the "mild" kind because the regular is pretty spicy!
Slartibartfast
I don't find the regular to be very spicy. I think it depends on what one eats normally. If you eat a lot of mexican food I would get the regular.
Big Buckin' Longhorn
It's DELICIOUS!!!! :D
delaney
I chuck chicken breast and saute it with onion and butter, then add the rotel and chunks of Velveeta. Poor that over pasta for Mexican Chicken. A HUGE favorite dinner in my house!
littlebug42
I use it when I make chicken tortilla soup. Yummy stuff.
Impish
I'm Canadian. Your thread title had me thinking 'roach motel' = 'Rotel' I'm starting to think Diva's right. :001_huh:
