Aggie
Happy Columbus Day! We celebrate with a great play, written and performed by my budding theatre students, and a Santa Maria-type meal. While he probably didn't do everything right, we applaud his courage and his willingness to think outside the box.

Karenciavo
Well I for one am glad he came. I like to live in America (you can sing along if you like.) Happy Thanksgiving to our neighbors to the north. There's no better way to celebrate than watching the Flyers win their home opener. :cheers2:

CLHCO
Be honest--who celebrated by taking the day off of school? Me, me, me!!! Actually, I took the day off everything. School, cleaning, parental responsibilities, (they watched Netflix). I was burned out so the timing of the holiday was perfect.
Sebastian (a lady)
nt :grouphug::grouphug: I hope everyone else's was as much fun as ours was. We spent the afternoon discovering a wonderful park on a penninsula jutting into Tokyo Bay. For some of the family it was a return voyage, but for my oldest boys it was a first trip. However all of us enjoyed our first glimpses of a previously undiscovered large playground that we hadn't fully explored on our first trip.
