Sue G in PA
I'm just not motivated to do Latin with my dc yet (neither are they) but I think it would be beneficial to learn the Latin roots of our Eng. words. What books/curriculums are out there that teach this? I've heard of several on the board but can't remember. THanks.
Jenny in Florida
There are seveal levels, most available in either a workbook format or as software. We've used the computer-based ones with both of my kids. --Jenny

Canada_Mom
I've started using English from the Roots up with my little one. We like it and it's easy enough for her age, though I know we'll have to keep reviewing in the years to come.

Tammyla
English From The Roots Up worked very well for us. Just a few minutes a day. Quick, easy and it stuck with my dc.
umarider
I don't know how old your dc are, but Vocabulary From Classical Roots has worked well for DD12 this year. We'll be continuing on to Book B next year.
Chris in PA
We just started Vocabulary Vine and I really like it. It takes a few minutes a day and my kids are already retaining the info. I can't wait until we get a few more roots under our belts so we can start playing the games.

Rhonda@LivingWater
This has been a huge hit here and my dc have done very well with it. We mostly use the flashcards and learn and review with those. HTH!
