Snickerdoodle
We have several books but my kids vastly prefer the audio book version from here: http://www.naxosaudiobooks.com/120712.htm
Tina in WA
We like the one that is illustrated by Fritz Kredel
believe in miracles
I love the looks of this one from Living Books... it's been on my wish list for quite a long time now: Aesop's Fables
Jennefer@SSA
We love the older version that has illustrations by Milo Winter. I got my copy a few years ago at Half Price books but found this one on Amazon...and it has an audio CD to listen to go along. My boys would love that! MyLittleWonders
We also love the older version that has the Milo Winter illustrations. Sometimes, though, I pull Kingfisher's Aesop's Fables off the shelf to read.
Closeacademy
I like and use the one by Milo Winter. It is a big part of second grade to listen to the fables and write about them. :001_smile:
Zoo Keeper
We greatly enjoyed the Milo Winter version; I didn't use the workbooks for WWE this year, and we used this book for many of our narration/dictation/copywork assignments.
jjcmehl
We bought a used version by Milo Winter, as well! One of the children's favorites!
Dmmetler
I have the one from Dover, and then the Dover coloring book. My DD seems to remember better if she can color a picture of what she's hearing about, so that's working well for her. We're doing the same thing with A Child's Garden of Verses.
