ProudGrandma
Besides the Grammar one, has anybody else seen the other school house rock DVD's...like the Science and the Multiplication one? What is your opinion...as good as Grammar...not as good...better???
eternalknot
My kids really like the Science one; not so hot on the multiplication one. My library has both and the science gets a pretty heavy rotation (once monthly or more, if it isn't on hold). They'd rank the Grammar one as being between Science and Multiplication. They're favorites are the original "America Rocks" history one, and the newer Earth one. Hard to go wrong with Schoolhouse Rock, though - even the less "good" ones are still catchy and effective! Momling
We have the complete DVD and love them! Like the previous poster said... Some songs are better than others, but all are catchy.

That is funny, because mine will not watch the science one and love the multiplication one. They also like the grammar one as much as the mult., but only some of the history one. They are a lot of fun.

Gretchen in NJ
We have used all of them. I have like them since they helped me pass my history final in high school. The esay question was 50% of the grade. I answered the question about how a bill becomes a law by singing the School House Rock song in my head as I wrote. My history teacher could understand why most of his students answered that one correctly since he didn't go over it in class.;):lol:
missmoe
Our favorites are: A Bill, Barter, and Telegraph Line. This list is off the top of my kids' heads--so not sure if they are the correct titles. We have the complete set and listen to them quite often! We to too, and even though some of the things are beyond them at this point, they still love it, and I feel are really absorbing it.
Desert Rat
We LOVE School House Rock. The DVD I have has the "Whole Enchilada." History, grammar, multiplication, health. (Really, it is called the whole enchilada. :)) They are all good. And I've got the DVD that has all of them on one.
