hsmamainva
After 3 1/2 years of hard work, our 18yo earns her Black belt in Tae Kwon Do this morning!! :w00t: Wish her luck!! She has to break 10 boards and a cinder block! (I'll be watching it through my fingers!!)
SquirrellyMama
Yay! My oldest dd 8 is in TKD. She is a yellow belt right now. She is hoping to someday earn her black belt too. I had no idea there were 10 degrees of black belt until she started. I hope everything goes really well for your daughter today. Big Buckin' Longhorn
Good Luck! We've started Black Belt Academy Training here, but we're probably still 3 to 6 months away. Deep breaths, Mom, deep breaths. :001_smile:
johnandtinagilbert
Dc did TKD for some time. It takes a great deal of hard work to get there. Congrats on this wonderful accomplishment!

Loupelou
:party:Congratulations to her! That's hard work- good for her for sticking with it. My girls are blue belts in American Kenpo Karate.
Michelle in MO
Congratulations! Two of my girls (plus me) are all doing karate (more accurately, tae kwon do, I think), and I know how difficult that is! They will test for their brown belts in September; I'm a bit away from that (blue). Congratulations!
JFSinIL
My 13-yr-old tests for her brown belt in Kyuki-Do later this month - she is on track to get her black belt in a couple years. She is the only one of my four kids to do ANY sport at all!
Krista in LA
Congratulations to her, that's quite an achievement. I hope she will continue with her training - so many quit as soon as they get their BB. My kids and I got our 2nd degrees earlier this year and I'm hoping that we'll stick with it long enough to at least get our 3rd degrees. That will take a few more years though. Desert Rat
Congratulations! She'll do great! We love TKD here. My ds won't be elligible for his black belt until he's 15. I'll be peeking through my fingers too.
