RegGuheert Posted July 27, 2009 Share Posted July 27, 2009 Malaysia has the BEST food!The ONE time I flew to Malaysia from Singapore I was extremely sick with a stomach ailment, so I didn't eat that day. However, I've spent quite a bit of time in Singapore and LOVE the food there. I particularly like the Satays! :thumbup: It looks like I'll be back to Singapore in August. How interesting, and thanks for sharing! I recall someone on this board has a blog in which they stated that one of their family values was to expose their kids to 3rd World foods--I think that's so cool! Lots of chicken and seafood dishes. Curry is big here too. It is sort of like Chinese meets Indian meets Thai food. I really don't know what most of it is called (yet) but I am working on it. There are some pics on my blog of some of our favorites. I am not sure about the 3 meals thing. The stalls are pretty busy all day long so I think they do have 3 meals. The Governess Posted July 28, 2009 Share Posted July 28, 2009 Sounds a lot like Taiwan, we were there a couple years ago and the food was the best I have ever had, very similar to what you are describing but substitute boba tea for the iced coffee. :D I hope you enjoy not having to cook much!
