unsinkable
I pulled in the driveway and ds-13 ran to me, called me Mommy and practically jumped up & down with happiness. I had the groceries for lunch. :D  The hand that controls the cold cuts rules the world.

Diane in CO
I always get greeted at the door with smiles and hugs when I bring home the weekly groceries as well :D Gotta love kids!
DarlaS
Even my 15 yo is happy to see me when I have food! He and his three younger siblings even put it all away. All of it. I help just a very little bit ("Evaporated milk goes in the cabinet not the fridge dear.") :D I'm a lucky mom. I haven't put away groceries (which I detest for some reason) on my own in ages. LibraryLover
Yes, mommies bearing brownie baking ingredients get the same sort of treatment. And steak on the grill is another way to get some demonstrative lurve. :D
