Melissa in CA
For those of you who have son's who like wearing a shirt in the pool or at the beach, can you tell me what you buy? My 12 yo feels uncomfortable without a shirt on, and I have seen some type of swim shirt for boys....somewhere...but I recall the ones I saw were rather goofy looking. At 12 yo, 'goofy looking' is NOT an option, KWIM? ;) Any suggestions? Edited June 17, 2009 by Melissa in CA
LisaKinVA
I got some at Target... otherwise, I've seen them in the CDW (kid's clothing) catalogue.

Herding Cats in NC
I ordered some for my boys from Lands' End. They have different styles, including plain, solid colors. It looks like they still have some styles on sale.

The 10 yr old, beginning to be picky settled on a striped one that looks like a regular shirt. $12ish each.

Jan in SC
LL Bean, Landsend, try googling billabong, quicksilver or Hurley.
LeslieP
They are called rash guards and now that they are more popular you can find them at Target and Old Navy. Both stores are comparable in price, although sometimes you can get them from Old Navy online in discontinued colors/styles pretty cheap--got some last year for $5 each. Stacia
Agreeing w/ Land's End. You can usually find them for a good deal in the Overstocks section (and you can often find a free shipping code too, if you do a bit of googling or sign up for their emails). Theirs last really well through the pool, the beach, & multiple washings. Edited June 18, 2009 by Stacia
