Michelle/OK
She is 21 and will be married soon. I'm at a loss as to what books might be helpful for her. All I remember are the Ed Wheat books from the 80's. Thx in advance!
stripe
About what? I don't mean to be indelicate. About marital intimacy? Home management? Cooking? Laundry tips? First aid? All of the above?
dalynnrmc
The Marriage Bed will have tons of fantastic resource suggestions. Also check out The Generous Wife (and its Husband counterpart). And congrats to her!
Jami
Each for the Other by Bryan Chappell is excellent.
akmommy
The Five Love Languages: How to Express Heartfelt Commitment to Your Mate I don't think it's specifically Christian, but should be required reading for all newlyweds. http://www.amazon.com/Five-Love-Languages-Heartfelt-Commitment/dp/1881273156/ref=cm_srch_res_rpli_1

It really points out the differences in the way that men and women think and approach problems/issues and really sheds a light of understanding into how your mate thinks) My heartiest congratulations to your dd. :)
lisasaysto
"His Needs, Her Needs" by Dr. Willard Harley saved my marriage when my husband and I were going through a rough patch. I wish we had known about the book before we needed it, because it might have saved us a bunch of grief. I'll also echo "Power of a Praying Wife" mentioned above and "Power of a Praying Husband," too.
Rita
Sheet Music by Dr. Kevin Leman. There are several chapters at the beginning of the book that the engaged couple can read BEFORE the wedding. Highly recommend it. Blessings, Rita

gardening momma
Joy Breaks for Couples is a nice little book--it's intended for the couple to read it to each other.
