I am sick - flu - body aches, fever, chills, cough etc. This could not have come at a worse time. DS15 is behind in his schoolwork and he needs me to be on-top-of-it cheerleader mom. I was supposed to host science club tomorrow, but we were able to postpone it. We are supposed to go to the new Holocaust museum on Wednesday for ds15's history studies. Now I can't go. Book club on Thursday is at a local war museum (Iron Thunder - about the Monitor and the Merrimac). I am not sure I'll make it for that. Saturday is ds12''s birthday. How am I going to organize a nice day for him when I feel this crummy now. Enough of the whine - I am thankful I have a think-on-your-feet dh who is taking care of much of the household stuff (even if he is avoiding me:).) The fever broke around 10 last night, so, of course, I was awake until 2 after sleeping most of the day. I still have a killer cough, swollen glands, and a killer headache. Thanks for your prayers.
