  1. Wow!! This thread is amazing. I've never in my life heard of such a thing! How fascinating! I like to smell my kids' skin but I don't typically smell their breath. I have to try that next time they get sick and see if I can tell the difference. I've never smelled it when they have a fever but I have smelled it when they have gas. gack! :ack2: :p
  2. I didn't know any step was necessary in between Singapore and Algebra I. I am doing NEM 1 this year with dd and it has some Algebra in there and Geometry too. I figured I would be able to glide right into Algebra I next year after finishing NEM. Am I wrong??
  3. My dd is 12 and a half. We're using BJU Life Science for 7th grade.
  4.:lol::lol::lol: insanity maybe?? :tongue_smilie: It bugs me too though that they have to pose as a religious person. Man, I hate that crap so much! :banghead:
  5. Alright who let Kanye in here??? :toetap05: :D Sorry. I just couldn't resist it. :tongue_smilie:
  6. "you're sitting in a chair in the SKY!!" ROFL Too funny! Thanks for sharing. :)
  7. There is a big jump between 6th and 7th grade for BJU science. The 6th grade has one student text and one teacher text but the 7th grade has two texts for each! When I was doing my lesson plans for this year (7th grade) I had to plan to read a couple of pages of science each day of the week in order to finish it up by summer.
  8. Thanks. No I've never heard of them before your mentioning. That link looks really cool! I'll have to investigate their kits. I LOVE science and doing science-y stuff. :D Thanks so much for the head's up. :)
  9. I actually knew this one. (woo hoo! I's smart 2nite!) I was just being facetious. ;) Oh, I think I hurt myself trying to spell it correctly though.:tongue_smilie:
  10.:lol::lol::lol::lol: YOU are being a very bad boy tonight!! What is it a full moon or something?? :tongue_smilie:
  11. ROFL Really!! How dare she sit up there shining so bright at night and keeping everyone awake!! The nerve!!:lol::lol: Not I. But my parents used to keep me chained up in the basement and I only had cockroaches to play with so don't go by my experiences.
  12. Watch it there Mr. Tang or I'll have Remudamom's rabid possum run you over with a Ryder truck!! :tongue_smilie:
  13. Not for me, but apparently some people have problems with koolaid. ;) :p hehe
  14. That is HORRIBLE!!! :grouphug: If you were my friend I would have fed you for weeks!! :grouphug:
  15. Pssst. I used to drink that one too. But let's just keep it between us mm'kay? I don't want to be charged with a double homicide for this thread. :) :p
