I had the same experience with my late MIL. She was not stable enough to be home, stable enough to be discharged from the hospital, no room in LTC, so she stayed in the hospital until she passed and we were charged for every day for 2 months.

I just saw a 3br, 2 bath, 2200 sq feet with a two car garage 10 acres with a pond on coop water 15 minutes from town for $449,900. That's about standard for my area.

We had someone try and force his way into our house once. This guy claimed he was a missionary and wanted to talk but wouldn't take no for an answer and shoved his foot in the doorway to prevent us from closing the door on him. My 80lb+ Sheppard jumped down an entire flight of stairs. My husband grabbed the dog at the last second and the 'missionary' took off. I had a border collie that would herd the toddlers away from the BBQ. He was a good dog and I miss him.

We have rain! The fire near my house is holding as is the fire near my uncle's farm. The fire near my sister's farm however is still out of control 😞

My sister doesn't except for some cats (they grain farm) but her in-laws do and my uncle does.

We are fine but family and friends have evacuated and my uncle and my sister may both lose their farms 😥

We had lost contact with the family this week but a message just came through intermediaries today. They are safe in Juba and reaching out to the Canadian embassy there.

Please continue to pray. We have been pleading their case to the federal government in hopes of getting them evacuated with Canadian citizens. Unfortunately that option was denied today. They do not have the required medical certificates for the baby boy and thus no visa. 😥

I've frequently seen this. My province offered families $100 a month per kid for six months as part of their Affordability Action Plan. The comments I see on social media, in my community, are how it's a plan to register everyone into the nwo digital id etc.

She pepper sprayed him after he followed her to her car ARMED WITH A GUN. Sorry to yell but does she not have the right to self defense if she is being followed by an armed man? Someone waves a gun at me and I defend myself, are they then allowed to kill me? The excuse of self defense is ridiculous IMO in incidents where the perpetrator actively follows the supposed threat.
