  1. They actually closed about a month ago. :/ I have always had shoulder issues also...working through it with new bras is very difficult. I get spasms in my neck and the numbness/pain in my hands and fingers is awful. I just need to find underwire for those with short torsos and prominent ribs I suppose.
  2. That would make sense, but the straps are as loose as they get. :/ I actually did go back a couple of days later and tried to return it. She said she wouldn't take it back and to give it more time. :(
  3. As far as going bra free....how does that work if you aren't super, ya know...perky I guess. After breastfeeding three kids and all....
  4. This is the underwire that I have right now. http://www.biggerbras.com/product/n/elomi-caitlyn-elomi-caitlyn-underwire-side-support-bra-8030/i/10493/
  5. Oh my gosh!!!! Cuteness overload!!! Too much adorableness to process!! :D :D
  6. I recently went for a bra fitting. She fit me as a ridiculously huge size (40J) and put me in an underwire bra. I explained that underwire REALLY hurts me because I have a very short torso and very prominent ribs. She basically said suck it up, it will get better. So...I tried. The underwire literally bruises my ribs and leaves me red and sore for days. Am I doing something wrong? I also got some other bras in a different size, no underwire (40DDD) that fit really well but after wearing them for a while it causes a ton of shoulder pain and my fingers on that arm go numb or tingle with pain. I'm just so frustrated. :(
  7. Okay so basically it's a regular doctors check up...and they want to talk to you about sex. Yeah. No thanks, I'll pass. Seems a bit redundant to me.
  8. Hmmm....I agree she needs to be seen with issues like this, but I've been told multiple times that girls don't need to be seen (unless there are issues) until they are sexually active or 21...whichever comes first. There's no way I would take my 15 year old (who has no issues) to the gyn.

  10. In the U.S., Eastern TN, have only noticed white, orange and yellow before.
  11. It's a Stearns and Foster Adobe Sky. I don't think they make them anymore honestly though. I think it retailed for $1,800 but we got it on closeout for $900 I think. If I ever do have to get a new mattress though, I will definitely get another Stearns and Foster. It's the most amazing mattress ever.
  12. Any bed related item. Pillows, I don't think so, my neck will pay the price. Sheets, nope, I get sooooo whiny and can't sleep. And I REFUSE to EVER get rid of my mattress. We've had it for 12 years now and I'm still in love with it. I'm SO OCD about my bedding.
  13. I've never seen them not individually wrapped. They definitely each have a different flavour. Like I said, blue is my fave and my oldest pointed out recently that it tastes like blue raspberry, which I reeeeally hate. I had never tasted the blue raspberry before that and now it takes a little work not to taste it. Heh, weird I know.
  14. I think they're called hiding eggs. I buy a few bags every Easter. We find them at target or walgreens here every year. :) Love them too! The blue ones are my fave, then the pink ones.
  15. Try passionflower. It helps with what I call "circle thoughts". The thoughts that just continue to go around over and over in your head. Pair it with some valerian and or melatonin and it usually does the trick for me. Passionflower for the circle thoughts, valerian to relax myself to sleep, melatonin to stay asleep. Time released melatonin is the best.
  16. Starburst Fruit Twists were my FAVE! I ate them nearly everyday when I was in high school. *siiiiiiigh*
  17. Arctic Mama, how long did it take you to lose that much? My biggest concern is what my husband will think. I dress modestly, so looking good in a bikini isn't something I'm worried about, but in the bedroom...that's a different story. I also have a lot of stretchmarks from my pregnancies. :( And the infamous baby pouch from C-sections.
  18. First off, please don't judge and please don't quote, I may end up deleting later, especially depending on how the thread progresses. I know a lot of people will think/say it's better to be healthier and at a healthy weight than to worry about such silly things and stay overweight. I have a bit of weight to lose, probably about 80 lbs or so. I've struggled with my weight a good portion of my life (was underweight and not thriving as a small child, then overweight in grade school, anorexic and underweight as a teenager, and then gained a lot with my first pregnancy and haven't lost it). I struggle to lose weight (it's really difficult for me for some reason?) but my biggest worry about losing weight is loose skin. I would rather be a bit overweight and than to be a healthy weight and have loose skin. That's my biggest mental block....I'm literally terrified to lose weight. So those who have been overweight for a good amount of time (15 years) and lost a good amount....how bad is the loose skin and is there a way to prevent it? Thanks so much. Like I said, please don't judge...it's an honest fear of mine and should be treated with compassion please. Thank you.
  19. I'd have to cover it with a bandage then though... :/
  20. I'm interested as well. Tying floss on it would freak me out....what if I couldn't get it off if it didn't work? And putting a bandaid on that area doesn't work...it's on my thigh and I guess my thigh just gets really well heated during the day and the adhesive becomes really strong because by the end of the day it's nearly impossible to remove. *sigh* :/
  21. Lots of restaurants not too much of a drive from there, Aubrey's, Krispy Kreme, Menchie's, Five Guys. I've passed the hotel lots of times, and it looks pretty nice. :) Good choice. And excellent neighborhood. Love McKays! Good suggestion The Girl's Mom. Traffic has gotten a bit heavier since Whole Foods moved in though. I know you wouldn't be able to check anything out, but if you want something else to kill a bit of time there's a library just down the road. Oh and the mall is not too far either.
  22. I love my Bissell Healthy Home. I've had it for probably 5 years or so now and it still works as well as when I got it. I did find one today though that I will definitely consider when I do need a new one. The Eureka Brushroll Clean. I think it's only at Walmart...looks so cool. :D
  23. Awww I'm so sad. I just saw the banner tonight and was so excited. No way can we afford that though.
  24. That happened where I live. It was so scary and eye opening. For a couple of years after that I would just sit and stare at the entrance to the chapel at my church (there was a window on the side that showed the front doors from the outside), terrified it would happen at my church just down the road.
