  1. I don't know much about Starbucks but it sounds similar. Sounds like CA has two different designs, but most have one.
  2. Somehow I missed this earlier! If you still want to send a bag you can message me!
  3. I also wonder what the cheapest way to ship a bag would be. Anyone have any suggestions?
  4. Yes, he told us about the popular mystery bags! He said they're available in November and December. I'm there so often, I don't know how I've missed them each year!
  5. These are all great ideas! Thank you all!
  6. My kids just did a field trip at our local Trader Joe's and learned that each area in the country has their own reusable bag design. They're wondering if anyone living in another area would like to send them a bag. Or perhaps even do a swap? We're in Southern California. Anybody interested??
  7. My 8yo is making tuna melts right now for dinner. What are some other kid-friendly recipes? I'd like to get her on a regular schedule of making dinner once a week.
  8. Thank you all! You've given me some really great things to consider!
  9. We're going to be spending a few days in Sequoia National Park late this spring and I'd love any advice you might have for doing that with young kids. Looking for advice on the specifics of where to go, stay, which hikes are good when you have a toddler in tow, etc. As well as any other tips you might have! Kids will be 9, 7, and almost 3. We've never done a trip like this so I'd love to hear from the experts!
  10. You really can't go wrong with either. If you're staying in the city I'd probably just recommend the zoo. If you have more time and want to see more of the area, do Safari park. Escondido is beautiful and really nice that time of year. But both parks are wonderful!
  11. We did the primary a couple years ago when DD was 6. We liked it, but she did need me to read aloud most of the books and there weren't really hands on activities.
  12. I think fevers that high for that long would have me bringing my child to the hospital if the doctor wasn't helpful.
  13. Thanks again everyone! I'm finally healthy, had a great talk with a friend about school, and am fired up to go full speed ahead into the rest of the year!
  14. I can do it from my chromebook but not from my iPhone.
  15. Thanks everyone! The kids all seem to be mostly recovered from their colds and mine is getting worse! But we've discovered that even the two year old likes Magis School Bus, so we're managing to learn some things despite how cruddy I've been feeling.
  16. Thanks! This is how out of it I am. Now that you mentioned Magic School Bus I remember that the kids were asking the other week if we could watch some of those again. Guess this is the time to do it!
  17. I've been under the weather since Christmas and now have tonsilitis. We went really light on school work during December and really need to start back into the swing of things. Thing is, it hurts too much to talk. My plan is to let the kids do a few Mystery Science lessons this week, along with math and reading. I'm looking for some good documentaries that are available online for them to watch. We're studying Middle Ages this year, but anything interesting would be fine. They're 1st and 3rd grade. Any ideas?
  18. When it's cold out, my go-to meal is chicken soup. I usually have the veggies and broth on hand, as well as cooked or raw chicken in the freezer. If the chicken is already cooked, then the meal comes together in less than 30 minutes. We also will often do breakfast for dinner. Eggs of some kind (scrambled, omelettes, etc.) with fruit and veggies. Sausage (can use turkey sausage), peppers, and onions browned and cooked in the IP or oven is pretty quick and easy. Bean and cheese burritos (with either cooked beans that I keep in the freezer or canned) with fruit and veggies.
  19. My dad recently ordered a burger at McDonald's. It came with everything except the meat patty.
  20. Moongobble and Me is a relatively easy chapter book my kids have enjoyed. I think it's a series of three books.
  21. Do you happen to have links to some of the FB groups? Also, are there any accessories that are must-have for the IP?
  22. My friend cooked a frozen chicken in less than an hour, if I remembered correctly. Also can sautee. So for me, I think it will be worth it!
  23. Has anyone seen an InstantPot in Black Friday ads? I reaaaly want to get one!
  24. Wow! It's a real live Thundercake story! This is so awesome!
