We were using MFW's recommendations, but Writing Strands made us nuts. We are using Switched-On Schoolhouse but I'm not liking that as much as I thought it would. I am finding that it is a bit more tedious for my children than I had hoped. I'm considering Learning Language Arts Through Literature. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Has anyone ever had their child do these questions in the activity book by writing them down (not orally)? I am wanting to do this and finding it a pain to type them all up. Ugh. Please tell me that someone somewhere has already done this and I can use theirs....?

Put too much Nutmeg into a drink (please don't ask)...lol... Say, "I've never been pulled over for speeding," and then not pay attention to my speed. Trim a newborn's finger nails with a clipper (chewing them off is much safer).
