  1. I've only been once but for me the beans and rice in my burrito were too bland. I may have to try it again but I seem to remember thinking it was expensive for what I got. But it's been awhile.
  2. Mine came in completely and I have had one pulled just by the dentist. I will say I think it hurts more afterward than I remember a regular tooth hurting. Could just be that it takes me so many shots to get numb that I thought I wouldn't need any pain meds and boy was I wrong!
  3. I have a teachers guide with mine and couldn't live without it. It shows the work and that really helps me along.
  4. I have been so worried about this but whenever I ask the people I know who have kids at our local college they are saying it's not a problem. But maybe that was before it's gotten so tight in CA. Does he need to know geometry to take the test? He is just finishing up algebra so was just curious.
  5. I was surprised it cost so much! I'm thinking he would take it in Sept so gives me some time. Thanks!
  6. I keep hearing that as well so I was thinking it might really benefit him getting the classes we were hoping he would take for 11th and 12th grades.
  7. Thanks! I hadn't planned on graduating him yet since he's only in 10th but the work permit was exciting to him since he keeps bugging about it to get a job this summer.
  8. Those two things might actually be very helpful! I keep getting mixed messages about issuing a diploma myself because I'm not accredited. So I just started to have a panic attack that I wasn't prepared enough.
  9. Is this the route I should be going to ensure my son has something like a diploma? I guess I just figured I'd graduate him myself and then he would go on to community college. Now I'm wondering about this or maybe an online way but I am not sure what is out there to do that. Any help?
  10. I haven't read the whole article yet, but I was wondering what did you think of them doing so many transactions per shopping trip to get the deals? That really bugged me about the whole show!
  11. Me too, I was so grateful it was summer! Mine ended up jamming the bone in my foot right below my baby toe and so that foot is now wider.
  12. I've been there! I couldn't even tape mine. I just left it alone. One thing I learned is that it took months for mine to heal!
  13. Not that I know of. My accountant has never said anything about that. We have some number for deductions that results in almost nothing getting taken out all year, then we just file and pay. **Edited to add....I think it's cause we claim 13 exemptions so we are still declaring something. It just results in almost nothing taken out. This year my husband added a second job so we owe quite a bit more than I planned but still better for us having that money all year to use.
  14. What I should say is I was never exposed to reformed theology so I was actually interested in the readings but my son just wasn't. I find it easy to work around. The questions and answers are not hard to adapt. I will say that I love Omnibus but some of the topics of discussion can get repetitive. But again it is pretty easy to skip questions and still have plenty to discuss.
  15. We just skip the reformed religious books. We read Chosen by God and its just not what my son believes in. I don't follow the schedule at all. We just go at our own pace and we are actually doing more than one year at a time because while finishing the first one we moved onto American history so we are also working on the third.
