I don't know if I have posted about it or not. He leaves next Friday for a 10-day trip to Italy with the business department. I think they are going to Rome, Florence, and Sorrento.

I really enjoyed lunch with my friend! Ds called in a panic because he couldn't find his passport, but as I was getting on here to ask you all to pray he finds it, he let me know it was found! Whew!!! That would have been an expensive loss. His trip is about $5000, and he would still have to take another trip. The school requires a global perspective trip for all the students.

All of the housework is done, and I did some more organizing in the office. Next up is a shower and getting ready.

Good morning! I slept in, so dh packed his food. I have a friend coming here for lunch. put dishes away (ran dishwasher last night) finish tidying house dust floors shower and get ready Bible study make lunch enjoy friend being here finalize lesson plans for next week grading/emailing figure out dinner watch something and relax

The kitchen is cleaned up, and the dishwasher is going. I always leave my snowman collection out until the end of February, so I packed it up tonight.

@Ausmumof3I hope you got to feeling better! Tutoring went well. I made dinner before dh had to go to the charter school. I went grocery shopping for tomorrow. I remembered dh got paid today, so I had to take care of the bills/big budget book. I still need to clean the kitchen and tidy up.

Ds is the one who is pretty even-tempered and generally happy. He takes more after me, while dd takes after dh. LOL! I'm glad your mom is stable! Would you all pray for a friend from college and her husband? He was diagnosed yesterday with a malignant tumor in his pancreas. Today, tests are being done to see if it has spread. Thank you! @DawnM, I hope you enjoyed your time remembering your dad!! We went to church this morning. We ate lunch out and shopped at Walmart for a few things. I went up to my dad's because his iPad kept asking for stuff he couldn't do. While up there, I took a couple of small toy trucks to my nephew's grave. I texted ds and asked if I could do anything for him since I was up that way. He is behind on schoolwork with all of this fraternity stuff, so he asked if I could pick up his laundry and do it for him. I went by and got it on my way home. He'll come pick it up in the next couple of days. l'll get to see him twice this week, which makes doing the laundry more than worth it! One load is going. I talked to my older sister for awhile this evening.

We are considering going during the first week of April. Will it be nice enough to see much yet? I'm concerned there won't be many good views.

We ate leftovers. I did more Bible study homework. Dh and I played a game of Azul, and then we watched a couple of episodes of The Goldbergs. I talked to my dad, and I'm going up there tomorrow. He is having problems with his iPad, which is how he watches some streaming stuff. He doesn't have internet in his house, but it has unlimited data to it.

Good afternoon! I've had a nice day. I hope you all are enjoying yours! I met with yesterday's no-show student this morning. We did some more work in the garage. We watched the two episodes of Ghosts that are out. I did some Bible study, and then I took a long nap. We just got back from a walk. Real life starts back on Monday, so I'm trying to relax and enjoy what's left of the break!

The online student never showed up because his mom forgot about it and made other plans for them. I arranged it all with her, so I'll be sure to text the student next time. We are rescheduled for the morning because this was very important stuff I needed to cover before his class on Monday. I had a great afternoon with E! A friend called wanting to take me to dinner. I just got back, and it was a nice night out.

Who's up and at it already?

I haven't accomplished what I set out to, but it's a break and I don't mind. Dh and I broke down a lot of cardboard boxes to take to recycling. I watched the last episode of All Things Great and Small. Dh made himself a Costco pizza. I heated chicken in the air fryer and had some baked beans. Dd called, and we talked for a bit. I called my sister, and she wants me to go on a trip with her in March. She is taking our dad down to South GA for a train group meeting he wants to attend. Then, they are going to the coast of Florida for the rest of the week. I would have to record videos for my classes to watch on Monday because we'll be on the road. The house has wifi, and I should be able to have the Wednesday classes online as usual. How many more times will I be able to go to the beach with my 86-year-old dad? All of my homeschool families will understand, and I will make sure the kids get what they need. I think I will do it!

I love where we live now (northwest GA), but an area we like when we are around it is Lexington, KY. We would like most of East TN, too. Dh has no desire to go back north to southwestern OH where he grew up. The weather is a big reason he wants to stay farther south. Even Lexington might be a bit too cold and snowy for him.
