Good morning! Our new class starts today at church. Dh hasn't taught his own material in quite a while, so he is excited! We aren't anticipating a large number because it is during the early service. Our building doesn't have enough classrooms to offer a full Sunday School program because we need so many for the children's groups. shower and get ready breakfast class and go to 2nd service lunch out laundry tidy house finish Algebra 1 plans for the week do lesson plans for the private students look over the lessons for tomorrow post the homework for tomorrow find out if the brother/sister duo is coming this week figure out if the new book I got is what I want to use for the middle school math class next year (7th graders not in Pre-Alg until 8th) maybe play a solo game since Dh will be watching football update the big budget book read books for students watch something and relax

Starting us off…

Breakfast was good, and my friend wants to join the board. The training went well, too. Another friend's birthday is today. She has already celebrated with her family, so she and I are going out to dinner. We snacked for lunch, and I made some cookies from dough that was expiring. I did some grading and emailing. We played Wingspan, and I won by 17 points!

I'm headed out to breakfast with a friend. We are going to discuss the Arts Council board and see if she might want to join. Then I have a training meeting with the board for all of us to learn the new website. Back home, dh and I will play Wingspan since I have it set up. Not sure what else the day will hold besides schoolwork to prep for next week.

Praying for smooth transitions to adulthood and for you to be able to focus on the good and memorable things that happen! @LifeLovePassion, praying one of those will find the problem and know the solution! @history-fan, woohoo for better temps, and I hope those ideas will fix the cough. @Ausmumof3, praying you feel better. It was a very good day. I think I found some lights that might work. Lunch and TJ's with dd was good. Costco didn't have a couple of things I wanted, but I did find the rest of the stuff. The dishwasher is going, but I have a bit more to do in the kitchen before bed. I took the sheets off the bed and put clean ones on. I started a load of towels in the washer. Dh was going to play a game with me, and I got Wingspan set up. He was getting too sleepy to be able to play. We'll leave it set up for tomorrow. I watched Victoria, and I did some grading. Next up is to transfer the towels to the dryer and watch the Goldbergs.

Good morning! It's my day off, and I'm going up to Chattanooga. I'll do some shopping and get lunch with dd. Following. My doctor wanted me to have it, but our insurance has super high deductibles. The first two visits would have been nearly $1000, and visits afterward would still be almost $150. They did a short consult for free that was not invasive in any way. They gave me some info about dealing with urges.

@Ausmumof3, nice to see you here! I'm sorry your sleep hasn't been good, either. Since I work from home running my own business, I always feel like I'm working on it. I don't mind since we're mostly empty nesters and I enjoy it.

@TheReader, have fun! @ScoutTN, stay safe! I forgot dh has a continuing learning thing at the charter school, so I made dinner early so he could eat before he left. I've done some schoolwork and read for the students. I texted a friend about possibly joining our arts council board. We are going to breakfast on Saturday morning to discuss it. I posted a message in our game night FB group asking if next Thursday would work for the next game night. I have a new friend I want to invite, and she is off on Thursdays. I hope it will work out!

@LifeLovePassion, I'm so sorry the dizziness is still going on! I pray they can get this figured out and get some relief in place! I made dh the chicken pot pie. I found some non-dairy gravy in the pantry and used the rest of the chicken, vegetables, and an extra pie crust I had to make myself one. I need to clean up the kitchen next.

My classes went well. The brother of the duo didn't come because he was sick. Hoping the sister didn't expose me too much! I didn't know until she came in and told me. I never made the chicken pot pie for dh, so I'm going to make that tonight. He'll get lunch for the next two days out of it. We'll have salad, and I need to make an entree for myself to eat. Not sure what yet.

I was able to surprise E by waiting at her house until she got home. She loved that I did that! She leaves on a school trip tomorrow, and she wants to take her water bottle with her. She loves horses! We’ll go out together sometime next week to celebrate more.

I liked the new person who cut my hair. She said they are seeing a lot more dandruff/scalp issues this winter than they ever have. Hmm, weird! My other friend retired to start keeping her new grandbaby, and this new person is in my church bible study group. I called my dad, and he wants me to meet him for dinner in Ocoee, which is between us. Leaving soon to go there, so I won't be going to the games. The new student is such a great kid. I don't know if it is because we are related, but I feel like he talked to me like he's always known me. He will be fun to tutor!

We were 28. We married at age 24, and we had our first child in that house when we were 30.

I spoke to a cousin who lives here, and she wants me to start tutoring her son. I'll meet with him tomorrow afternoon. I've never been very close with that side of the family, but I really like his grandmother, my first cousin's wife. Maybe this will open the door to be a bit closer to some of them.

The in-person tutoring is done. Dh got home, and we went to the post office and the discount grocery store. Scored some great priced oat products: milk, creamer, and ice cream. All were about 1/2 price compared to regular store prices. They also had bacon with no nitrates for a steal! Groceries are put away. We aren't super hungry now, so I'll make dinner later. It's pork tenderloin with garlic broccoli. I picked up a Bob Evans Mac/Cheese for dh at a great price, and I'm going to try a Daiya boxed mac & cheese. Hopefully, I will like it.

@history-fan, I hope you feel better and get some good rest! The Zoom sessions are over, and the in-person kid should be here withing 15-20 minutes.

Thank you! E is the local student I've adopted as a "grandchild" because she doesn't have either grandmother in her life. One recently passed away and the other has a lot of mental health issues that make her not able to have healthy relationships.

@SKL, happy doggie birthday!! I forgot to mention that today is the anniversary of our engagement 33 years ago, and it is E's birthday. I hope to celebrate with her later this week.
